Join us as Amy Ballard of Central New Mexico explains how to get your students engaged in the SkillsUSA National Geospatial Challenge. This hallmark event occurs every June in Kansas City, MO at the headquarters of SkillsUSA. Amy Ballard is the program director of the GIS program at Central New Mexico Community College and a member of the GeoTech Center team. Her students have successfully compete in the SkillsUSA competition, winning Silver and Bronze in the 2009 event. Event will include a Powerpoint presentation followed by question and answer.
